As the Founding Executive Director of Eat Smart, Move More South Carolina (now Wholespire) from 1999–2013, Amy built the coalition into a leading voice for healthy eating and active living. She grew membership to over 1,200 partners, secured more than $8M in grants, managed a $1.6M budget, supported 20 local chapters, advanced statewide policy, and positioned the organization as South Carolina’s go-to resource for healthy lifestyles.

As the Founding Executive Director of the South Carolina Alliance of YMCAs from 2013–2019, Amy built the Alliance’s infrastructure, expanded resources through grants and partnerships, and strengthened engagement among YMCA CEOs across the state. She advanced statewide advocacy, developed programs supporting 59 local branches, and created a nationally recognized model for alliance sustainability.

As Executive Director of Healthy Learners from 2019–2025, Amy led the organization through significant growth and innovation, expanding programs that connected more than 15,000 children with essential health services so they could succeed in school and life. She tripled the organization’s resources, services and geographic footprint to positioned Healthy Learners as a statewide leader in removing health barriers to learning.
